Inspecta acquires KontrollTechnik Scandinavia

Inspecta acquires the Scandinavian subsidiary KontrollTechnik Scandinavia of the German testing company KontrollTechnik GmbH. Sellers are KontrollTechnik GmbH and the present managing director of KontrollTechnik Scandinavia, Claes Göransson.
KontrollTechnik is world leading in advanced eddy current testing with applications for testing of example heat exchangers, boiler tubes and storage tanks. The clients are mainly the power and process industry.
KontrollTechnik Scandinavia consists of Claes Göransson and 2 employees that by 1 October will be transferred to Inspecta Sweden with stationing in Gothenburg.
Inspecta and KontrollTechnik have agreed to have a continued co-operation and Inspecta will have exclusive rights for the use of KontrollTechnik’s testing technology in the Nordic region, the Baltic States and Russia.
The acquisition is a part of Inspecta’s drive for more advanced testing methods in order to meet our clients need to secure high safety, availability and quality.
We are satisfied to have reached this agreement, says Wilhelm Kelb, Managing Director at Kontrolltechnik GmbH. We have had a long collaboration with Inspecta and feel that they are the right partner to further develop the Nordic market by utilising our advanced eddy current testing solutions.
